Called Lavogres by some, it is the Firogre race that rules Deathsgate
from their city within the volcano. Compared to the Ogre race a
Firogre appears noticeably leaner and more intelligent. Their skin is
red, as is their usually curly hair and polished tusks and horns.
Firogres seem to go to great lengths to look well groomed, educated,
and civilized. They also seem to take great pleasure in bossing
around others, especially ogres.

Firogres have an affinity for fire, and an aversion to water and ice.
Any time after reaching 2000 PL a Firogre can try to develop the
Firebreath skill, though how they accomplish that is a sworn secret,
and a matter of pride for those that gain the skill.
