For the mage seeking total control of what spells are attempted when in a
combat there is this powerful secret. By specifying in a when-said code 2
message a list of skill ID numbers (as seen on your stat sheet) you can
prioritize in what order equal frequency spells are attempted.
For example, if you know both the Blast spell (ID# 7) and the Snare spell
(ID#46) and would like to try to snare opponents first, and then blast, you
would have normally have some trouble. Setting the Blast at 9/9 and Snare
at 9/9 would mean Blast would be cast first, simply because the system
considers skills in ID# order. Setting Blast at 9/8 would be a work-around,
but with some extra work you can set them both to 9/9 and have Snare
considered first. Here's the message that you'd have to include in your
orders to make that happen:
when-said code 2: (set first skills)46/7
That list of skill ID#s can get as large as 6 ID numbers.
