Book 65 -- Defeat of the Night Cult (last revised 11/15/02)

The Night Cult Leader 'Nightlord' has been defeated in battle and has
been banished from Varna. The remaining Night Cult forces are
scattered and confused without guidence. There are still Night Cult
followers that need to be captured. I feel that their new leader,
Endar may (or may not) cooperate so we can capture these scattered
forces.

I want to thank all that have been involved in the assault. It has
been a team effort. It has been a long and drawn out last 2 years
accomplishing this task. I wanted to thank the following adventurers
(in no particular order):

Vanya, Gravestone, Helm, Grog, Sten, Hawk, Killian, Yerikan, Artemis
Entrerri, Simon, Calvin, Falstaff, Mina, Jessica, Vespers, Shawna,
Anvil Head, Queen Elleana, Crius the Titan, Logann, Bortog, Artemis
the Huntress, Lord Elendur, Rand Moonbiter, Jac O'Shadows,
Magnasaurus, Bonar the Fist , Aegri Somnia, Pug the Woman, Rush,
Grunge, Y.T., Khitrets, Delilah, Strahd, Slagg, Corowainer Bird,
Tawny, Garf, G'nadei, Jenalee, Kymara Bane, Lassiter, Tultari,
Dragonbone, and any others that I missed in this massive undertaking.

And to all those that defended the city against the demons months
ago, and all the other adventurers guild members for keeping tabs on
Antar, and those that helped last year when the Night Cult tried to
move onto the mainland, and Dr. Chulman's Flying Circus for finding
the mask of darkness to stop the night cult plans in their tracks so
we had time to organize our retaliation.

A special thanks to Cy Borgg for his unselfish acts that lead to him
paying the ultimate price. Cy Borgg was the true hero among us, we
are just the survivors. We will remember him, and what he has done
for us all, and our grandchildren.

There will be a large celebration at my Manor this evening. All of
the Adventurers Guild is invited.
